With the success of Virgil Abloh's OFF-WHITE x Nike "The Ten" Collection, the Swoosh is continuing to crank out alternate colorways of the original sneakers included in the collection that hit the market last year. Now, it looks like we're going to see another rendition of the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max '90 in a black color scheme coming this fall.
The original OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max '90 came in ironic off-white color scheme complete with an icy translucent sole unit. This version of the sneaker will feature a deconstructed black colorway complete with exaggerated paneling embroidery, the patented OFF-WHITE orange tab connected to the Nike Swoosh, the laterally located Nike tongue patch, red zip tie, and transparent AIR Zoom bubble located in the sole of the sneaker.
As of right now, there are no images of the official sneaker but we can expect to see these joints on the feet of Virgil himself and some of his friends in the public realm. The sneaker is expected to hit Nike retailers and online in October of this year for a retail price tag of $160. With that said, drop your thoughts on the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max '90 "BLACK" in the comment section and let us know if the kicks are worth copping as well.
